(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, NY – A Jamestown woman was taken into custody Friday evening following a domestic dispute at a northside residence.
According to the Jamestown Police Department, officers responded to the residence at approximately 6:37 p.m. on February 14 for a reported physical domestic altercation. Upon arrival, officers identified 50-year-old Danielle D. Middaugh as the suspect.
Investigators determined that Middaugh had damaged the victim’s property during the dispute. Authorities also stated that she failed to comply with multiple verbal commands from officers during the investigation.
Middaugh was arrested at the scene without further incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. She has been charged with Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree and Obstructing Governmental Administration in the 2nd Degree.
She remains in custody pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
