(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, N.Y. – A Jamestown man was arrested early Saturday morning following a domestic dispute on the east side of the city.
According to the Jamestown Police Department, officers from the 3rd Platoon responded to a domestic incident at approximately 3:10 a.m. on February 15. Upon arrival, officers determined that 27-year-old Victor J. Andino had endangered the welfare of a child during the altercation.
Police allege that Andino held a child while swinging a knife in his other hand during the dispute. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.
Andino was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child and is being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
