(WNY News Now) – Get ready to bid for a slice of something special as Audubon Community Nature Center’s Annual Pi Day Pie Auction kicks off on February 28, offering a variety of homemade pies to benefit local nature programs.

Audubon’s Annual Pi Day Pie Auction is February 28–March 5

Jamestown, N.Y. – Audubon Community Nature Center is celebrating Pi Day, March 14, early this year with bidding for their annual Pie Auction Fundraiser set from Friday, February 28 to Wednesday, March 5.

Bid on your favorite baker or your favorite pie. The scrumptious homemade pies–from vegan main dishes to delectable desserts–are created by Audubon staff and volunteer bakers. 

The online Pie Auction 2025 bidding take place at 32auctions.com/ACNC25. If you stay up late, you can start bidding at 1 a.m., Friday, February 28. Bidding closes at 9 p.m., Wednesday, March 5.

Among your luscious dessert selections are Bakewell Tart, New York Style Cheesecake with Cherry Topping, and Apple, Cranberry Pecan Crumble, Crown’s Chocolate Espresso, Crumb Top Apple, Decadent Peanut Butter, Elderberry, Gluten-Free Peach, Lemon Meringue, Mango Cardamom, Pecan Toffee, Peppermint Bavarian Cream, Pumpkin Pi, Run for the Roses Kentucky Derby, and The Elvis pies.









Main dishes include Spaghetti, Spinach-Tofu, and Taco pies, and Lobster and Vegan Tofu pot pies. 

Audubon will announce pie winners on Thursday, March 6.

Winners must be able to pick up their pies in-person at the Nature Center on Saturday, March 8 between noon and 4:30 p.m.

Pictures, descriptions of the pies and their makers, and ingredients accompany each of the pies at the auction site, 32auctions.com/ACNC24.  

Once you place your bid, keep checking back to be sure you are not outbid. Or choose the “buy now” price and guarantee you will be a winner.

All proceeds support Audubon buildings, grounds, and staff to continue to provide the community a safe place to get outside and enjoy the benefits of nature. Audubon nature educators visit schools across Chautauqua, Warren and Cattaraugus counties to teach interactive lessons on nature, lead walks on and off site, and offer weeks of Day Camp in the summer. 

Audubon Community Nature Center is located at 1600 Riverside Road, one-quarter mile east of Route 62 between Jamestown, N.Y., and Warren, Pa. You can visit the nearly 600-acre nature preserve, check in on the live birds of prey, and hike, snowshoe or cross country ski the over five miles of trails dawn until dusk daily for free. 

The three-story Nature Center building houses interactive displays, a collection of live animals including the Hellbender exhibit, and the Blue Heron Gift Shop. Visitors are welcome Mondays through Saturdays, 10 a.m.–4:30 p.m., and Sundays, 1–4:30 p.m. Nature Center members and SNAP/EBT cardholders have free building admission daily. Building admission is also free every Sunday for non-Nature Center members.
