(WNY News Now) – Wade S. Pfleuger, 44, of Jamestown, faces criminal mischief charges after allegedly smashing a security door with a fire extinguisher at the ROME Warming Center.
JAMESTOWN, NY – On February 26, 2025, at approximately 3:46 a.m., officers from the Jamestown Police Department responded to a criminal mischief complaint at the ROME Warming Center. Upon arrival, officers discovered that Wade S. Pfleuger, a 44-year-old resident of Jamestown, had caused significant damage to the facility.
According to police, Pfleuger used a fire extinguisher to smash the glass on a security door, resulting in damage exceeding $1,000. The incident was swiftly investigated, and Pfleuger was taken into custody without incident. He was transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where he is being held pending arraignment.
Pfleuger faces a charge of Criminal Mischief in the 3rd Degree. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
