(WNY News Now) – Sherman, NY – A Corry, Pennsylvania, man was arrested early Sunday morning for driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop in the Village of Sherman.
According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, deputies stopped a vehicle on Route 430 at approximately 12:03 a.m. on March 9. The driver, identified as 20-year-old Seth Troyer, was found to be intoxicated. Further investigation determined Troyer’s blood alcohol concentration (BAC) to be .18% or higher.
Troyer was taken into custody and charged with Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated (BAC .18% or Higher), and Throwing/Depositing Refuse on a Highway.
He is scheduled to appear in the Village of Sherman Court at a later date to answer the charges. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
