(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, NY – A 35-year-old Jamestown man was arrested Tuesday evening during a narcotics investigation, leading to additional drug-related charges.

At approximately 7:50 p.m. on March 11, 2025, officers conducting a GIVE Hotspot detail observed Joshua T. Berg in the area of Prospect Street and McKinley Avenue. Officers were aware that Berg had an active warrant issued by the Jamestown Police Department.

Upon taking Berg into custody, officers discovered a quantity of methamphetamine in his possession. He was transported to the Jamestown City Jail and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree in addition to the outstanding warrant.

Berg is being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
