(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, NY – A Jamestown man was taken into custody early Sunday following a domestic dispute on the city’s southside.

Jamestown Police responded to a residence at approximately 12:15 a.m. on March 16 for a reported domestic dispute. Upon investigation, officers determined that Daniel E. Reagle, 49, had unlawfully imprisoned the victim during an argument.

Reagle was arrested at the scene and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. He is being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court on a charge of Unlawful Imprisonment. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
