(WNY News Now) – COLDSRING, N.Y. — A Cattaraugus County man was arrested early Sunday morning for violating a court-issued order of protection.
According to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office, Kevin M. Stafford Jr., 33, was taken into custody at approximately 5:26 a.m. on March 16, 2025. Deputies responded to a domestic incident at a residence on Old Route 17 in the Town of Coldspring, where Stafford Jr. was found in violation of a stay-away order.
Stafford Jr. was charged with Criminal Contempt in the First Degree and Aggravated Family Offense. He was transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office for processing before being arraigned in the Town of Conewango Court.
Following his arraignment, Stafford Jr. was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail on $5,000 bail. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
