(WNY News Now) – LITTLE VALLEY, NY – A routine traffic stop in the early hours of Monday led to the arrest of a 26-year-old man on multiple charges, including driving while intoxicated.
According to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office, on March 24, 2025, Michael Willover was stopped at approximately 2:27 a.m. on Route 353 in the Town of Little Valley.
Following an investigation, deputies charged Willover with Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), Driving While Intoxicated Per Se, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 3rd Degree, and several traffic infractions. These included No Stopping, Standing, or Parking on a Highway, Consumption of Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle on a Highway, Speed in Zone, Failure to Keep Right, and Failure to Give One-Half of the Roadway.
Willover was processed and released with an appearance ticket for a future court date. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
