(WNY News Now) – A Jamestown woman was arrested early Thursday morning after allegedly stealing items from a local convenience store.
JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — On May 22, 2025, at approximately 4:00 a.m., Jamestown Police responded to a larceny complaint at the 7-Eleven located at 518 N. Main Street.
Officers from the third platoon were dispatched after store employees reported a theft that had occurred earlier in the night. Upon reviewing surveillance footage, officers identified the suspect as 32-year-old Katie E. Keeler of Jamestown, who had reportedly returned to the store shortly after the initial incident.
Keeler was taken into custody without incident at the scene. Following the investigation, she was charged with Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor under New York State law.
She was held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
