(WNY News Now) – A 26-year-old Jamestown resident was killed in a motorcycle accident early Sunday morning on Buffalo Street near Beechview Avenue.

Jamestown, N.Y. – On July 6, 2025, at approximately 7:56 a.m., officers with the Jamestown Police Department responded to a report of a single motorcycle crash in the area of Buffalo Street and Beechview Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered that the motorcycle had veered off the roadway and struck a telephone pole.

The driver, identified as 26-year-old Kyle Pitts of Jamestown, was transported to UPMC Chautauqua, where he later died from his injuries.

The investigation remains ongoing. The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Accident Reconstruction Team is assisting with the case.
