(WNY News Now) – ELLICOTT, N.Y. – A Jamestown woman is facing charges after Town of Ellicott Police responded to a harassment complaint on September 28, 2025.

According to the Town of Ellicott Police Department, officers charged Donna J. Torres, 68, of Jamestown, with Menacing in the Third Degree and Aggravated Harassment in the Second Degree following an incident reported at 4:49 p.m.

Police said Torres allegedly threatened to strike a victim with a blunt object and later made additional threats to punch the same individual. Following an investigation, Torres was transported to the Ellicott Police Department for processing.

She was released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Town of Ellicott Court at a later date to answer the charges. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
