(WNY News Now) – A 20-year-old Randolph man was arrested early Sunday on a DWI charge following a traffic stop on Route 394, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were investigating a complaint about vehicles performing burnouts in the area of Route 394 in the Town of Randolph at about 1:53 a.m. on Aug. 23.

During the investigation, deputies observed a vehicle allegedly commit a traffic violation and conducted a traffic stop.

The driver, identified as Bryce J. Harvey, 20, of Randolph, reportedly displayed indicators of intoxication. Harvey was arrested and processed on a charge of driving while intoxicated, along with vehicle and traffic law violations.

Harvey was released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Randolph Town Court at a later date.

The charges are allegations, and Harvey is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
