JAMESTOWN – A City of Jamestown woman is facing DWI charges following a crash Thursday night in the area of Forest and Newland Avenues.

Jamestown Police say Kaitlyn Rose, 28, allegedly fled the scene before officers arrived.

Police say Rose was later found in her vehicle parked in a nearby driveway.

At Jamestown City Jail officers say a chemical test to determine Rose’s blood-alcohol concentration found she was intoxicated more than twice the legal limit.

Rose is charged with unsafe backing, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, DWI and DWI per se. She was later released with an appearance ticket.

No injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
