Two Charged For Allegedly Neglecting Horses In Cattaraugus County

NEW ALBION – Two Cattaraugus County residents are facing charges after Sheriff’s Deputies allege, they neglected horses this month.

The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office says Donna Truesdale, 41, and Steven Remington, 41, failed to provide proper food and water for the animals.

Deputies say the horses have since been seized from an Otto Road property in the Town of New Albion.











The two are charged under the state’s agriculture and markets law with failure to provide sustenance, proper food, water and neglect.

They are scheduled to appear in the Town of New Albion court at a later date.
