(WNY News Now) – Jamestown – A routine call to the Southside of Jamestown reveals shocking animal neglect, leading to multiple charges against a local resident.
On June 27, 2024, at approximately 5:28 PM, officers from the Second Platoon responded to an animal complaint on the Southside of Jamestown. Upon arrival, they encountered Tiffany M. Freedline, a 35-year-old resident of Jamestown, who was the owner and caretaker of three dogs.
The officers observed that the dogs were severely malnourished, with missing fur and one suffering from an open wound. The dire condition of the animals prompted immediate action from the authorities. Freedline was taken into custody, and all three dogs were seized for their safety and well-being.
Freedline faces three counts of Failure to Provide Sustenance to an Animal under Jamestown City Code. Additionally, she received summonses for having unlicensed and unvaccinated dogs. Following her arrest, Freedline was transported to the city jail but was later released on an appearance ticket. She is scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date to respond to the charges.
