(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, NY — On January 18, 2025, at approximately 11:58 AM, officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s First Platoon responded to a domestic incident involving an intoxicated male at a west-side residence.

Upon arrival, officers encountered 31-year-old Jamestown resident NeKyle R. Taylor, whose loud, violent, and threatening behavior outside the home resulted in his arrest for disorderly conduct.

As part of the investigation, officers secured a large number of firearms found inside the residence for safekeeping. Further examination led to Taylor being charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd Degree. These charges stemmed from his possession of an assault weapon and a large-capacity ammunition feeding device, both discovered during the incident.

Taylor was transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where he remains held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
