(WNY News Now) – PERSIA, N.Y. — A vehicle pursuit that stretched across three townships in Cattaraugus County ended in multiple arrests after deputies assisted Buffalo Police in locating suspects tied to an armed robbery on the city’s east side.

On September 3, 2025, around 10:38 p.m., the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office responded to a “be on the lookout” alert issued by Buffalo Police for a vehicle believed to be involved in the robbery. Deputies located the suspect vehicle, along with a second vehicle, traveling at high speed on Broadway Road in the Town of Persia.

When deputies attempted to stop the vehicles, both failed to yield and a pursuit began. The chase continued through several townships before deputies successfully deployed spike strips in the Village of Little Valley, disabling the primary vehicle. Following a brief foot pursuit, deputies apprehended Reese P. Corbeil, 19, of Tonawanda, and a 17-year-old juvenile.

The second vehicle later complied with deputies during a traffic stop. The driver, identified as Tylor E. Cramer, 24, of Tonawanda, was taken into custody without incident.

All three suspects were transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office for processing. Corbeil and Cramer were charged with Unlawful Fleeing a Police Officer in the 3rd Degree and issued multiple traffic citations. Cramer was released to a third party, while Corbeil and the juvenile were turned over to Buffalo Police in Springville for further investigation related to the armed robbery. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
