Large quantities of methamphetamine and fentanyl were seized during a vehicle stop in Jamestown early Thursday, according to police.
(WNY News Now) – The Jamestown Police Department reported that three city residents were arrested shortly after midnight on January 2, 2026, following a traffic stop on the city’s southeast side that led to the discovery of multiple controlled substances.
According to police, officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s 3rd Platoon initiated a vehicle and traffic (VT) stop at approximately 12:06 a.m. near the intersection of Harrison Street and Winsor Street after observing a moving violation. The vehicle was also found to be uninspected and failed to properly signal.

During the investigation, officers determined that Taylor S. Hernandez, 31, of Jamestown, was in possession of approximately 67.9 grams of methamphetamine and 42.7 grams of fentanyl. Police also reported that Bradley M. McKay, 31, of Jamestown, was found to be in possession of approximately 40 grams of methamphetamine and a quantity of fentanyl.
The operator of the vehicle, identified as Zachary C. Clark, 57, of Jamestown, was allegedly found to be in possession of approximately 10 grams of methamphetamine.
All three individuals were taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where they were held pending arraignment.
Hernandez was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Second Degree, a Class A-II felony, and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, Class B felonies. McKay was charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree and one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree. Clark was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree and was also issued traffic citations for an uninspected motor vehicle and failure to signal.
All three are scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court. As with all criminal cases, the charges are allegations, and the defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
