(WNY News Now) – A months-long narcotics investigation in the City of Jamestown resulted in the execution of a search warrant, the seizure of cocaine and cash, and the arrest of a 31-year-old Jamestown man, according to law enforcement officials.

Jamestown Police and Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office investigators executed a search warrant at approximately 6:03 a.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at a residence located at 12 E. Hamilton St. in the City of Jamestown.

Authorities said the warrant was the result of several months of investigating suspected narcotics activity at the location. Investigators from both agencies were involved in the operation.

Just prior to the execution of the warrant, investigators observed Bryan Torres, 31, of Jamestown, leaving the residence. Torres was stopped on West Fifth Street and detained by law enforcement.

During the search of the residence, investigators seized approximately 11.4 grams of cocaine, digital scales, packaging materials allegedly used for the sale and distribution of narcotics, and $2,327 in U.S. currency.

As a result of the investigation, Torres was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree.

Torres was transported to the Jamestown Police Department and was scheduled to be arraigned in the City of Jamestown Court. No additional arrests were announced at the time of the release. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Authorities continue to encourage residents to report suspected narcotics-related activity in their neighborhoods.
