(WNY News Now) – WESTFIELD, N.Y. — A Westfield man is facing charges following an altercation involving a juvenile at a local motel Tuesday morning, according to police.

Officers with the Westfield Police Department, along with deputies from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, responded at approximately 10:09 a.m. on April 7 to the Thru Way Motel for a report of a disorderly person engaged in a physical dispute.

Following an investigation, authorities allege that David Harris, 37, of Westfield, struck a juvenile during an altercation in the motel parking lot.

Harris was charged with harassment in the second degree and endangering the welfare of a child.
